This dream came true when Sky Designs Aero was established with the goal of providing innovative engineering solutions. Who We Are
Meet Ken Krueger, the engineer behind Sky Designs.
His passion for airplanes started when he was very young. Both of his parents were pilots and most family vacations involved taking trips in their airplane. After graduating from San Diego State University with his Bachelors of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Ken worked for some of the top aerospace companies in the world including Douglas Aircraft Company, Boeing, and Van's Aircraft.
After he and his wife, Susan, successfully built and flew an RV-6 in 1993, Ken realized the importance of designing for ease of assembly and maintainability. This led him to founding his own aircraft design company, Sky Designs Aero.
